What is BPF
Established in 1990, the Business and Professionals Federation of Hong Kong (BPF) is a pioneer think tank founded as a successor to the Group of 89 members of the Basic Law Consultative and Drafting Committee. We are committed to promoting the betterment of Hong Kong.
Our membership comprises a wide spectrum of corporations, community leaders, academics, business and professional people who want to work towards greater stability and prosperity for Hong Kong, and advocate what is good for our community. We offer members opportunities to network with those who share similar aspirations.
We are non political, non factional and above all strive to promote the overall interests of Hong Kong rather than those of a single sector, through encouraging participation by the business and professional sectors in matters of public interest; and conducting research into and advocating “actions” on issues of critical importance to Hong Kong. With support from major business corporations, professional bodies and academic institutions, our research is well recognised and taken into consideration by policy makers in the formulation of policies and strategies for improving the overall well-being of Hong Kong.
